about tut
King Tutankhamun was also known as king tut of Egypt. His power reigned from 1314 B.C. TO 1324 B.C. until his death around age 19. It is believed that king tut died due to an infection of his broken leg or malaria but it has not yet been proven. He was mostly known for the discovery of his tomb instead of being a pharaoh. During his reign the one thing he accomplished was to reinstate traditional religious beliefs. His father considered the god Aten to be the most important deity and moved the capital of Egypt from Thebes to a new site devoted to Aten. These were unpopular religious changes. King Tut had these changes reversed to worship the god Amun.
